Default how hot is too hot
Im looking to get some info on how hot is to hot on aluminium manifolds. Or if this should be a problem or should run a egt gauge.

I would say everything over 1500 is pushing it ?!

My SM high tourge III are fine at ~ 1320 + ,,so i think it will have peak moments,,,but i would say 1500 is the absolute max.

OH,,and i overheated the engine once untill the paint bubbled oon the manifolds,,but they still work and don't leak .

You will melt the pistons out of the engine before you have a problem with the manifolds. Just don't run them without water.
