Hi all,
New on this forum, I'm living in the FWI, Caribbean.
I've been proposed a 1988 Top Gun 38 with Merlins 850hp, racing drives (don't know the brand yet), Latham steer., entirely rebuilt.
What do you think of these engines (reliability, weak points)?
What could be the fuel consumption at cruise speed (claimed as 54 knots) and top speed (74 knots)?
The seller recommends to disconnect the compressors to lower the fuel consumption by 20% (power should be 600 hp). What's your opinion about that?
