Default Camshaft for a 502 mag

Anyone know, or able to cross reference the std cam in a Mercruiser 502 Mag, around 92-93. I know if I buy one from Merc it'll probably turn up in a Crane box.

I don't think there is a exact standard cross ref cam made by anyone.

Specs are .510/.510 220/220 on a 115 lobe sep

The Merc 431-9830 cam is still available through GM dealers as GM part #14096209. GM rates this cam as 220º/220º @.050 .500/.500 LSA 115º, while other sources rate it 224º/224º @.050 .510/.510 LSA 115.5º. Either way it's the same cam. They have a version of this cam ground +5º as part# 10185060. The 14096209 cam has an intake lobe centerline of 114º ATDC and the 10185060 has an ICL of 109º ATDC advancing the ICL 5º. Both part #s are still active @ Scoggin-Dickey.

Many thanks for that, but I've just discovered the motor is a Gen 6, with roller lifters. The Merc cam #431-850478 is for an MPI motor, but this one is on a Holley. Any idea what the GM part # would be?
