a friend of a friend has a nordic for sale, and its a great price. but i cant get out there for a couple weeks and he needs it sold this week. i have never owned a boat so truthfully i wouldnt even know what to look for. but hate the idea of spending that kind of money without a test drive.
is there somebody i can hire to do an inspection? boat is in storage and wont be near a body of water for it though.
i know its not ideal, but its a nice looking boat at a good price.
thanks in advance

Well lets see the boat! Post some pics, give us some history and we'll try and help you out. You're driving blind. If you simply want an answer to your question then I say no, I wouldn't do it. If you can't get a survey then I would at least throw it out there with some details, surely someone will know something about it. If not good luck! I hope he is a good friend.

I think is an option (loading or viewing non-classified pictures) reserved for paying members.
I see you are "registered" which does allow you to post and read posts, and view classified pictures.

BTW,
I would never buy a major purchase of any kind (home/auto/boat/etc) without a personal view/test drive. If you don't consider yourself knowledgeable in a certain category, get a friend or broker/surveyor who is to go along with you.
That's just me.
