Im trying to rig a couple engines and do not need to see stainless braided lines. Is there something you have used that is not $8 a foot? I am planning on 10-12 feet per engine to make the 3 lines. The filter housings, block adapter and cooler are all using NPT. Im thinking -10 Hose.

Used -10 Aeroquip with reusable fittings on the last setup. It has a cloth covering with rubber and steel braid. Worked well and as far as I know is still working (sold boat). Only thing is after a while it would maintain the form or shape it routed. So to reuse it was not happening. Paid about $4.00 a foot and $3.00 to $4.00 per fitting. Can pickup at any hose / hydraulic shop.

You can use the push lock fittings from several different manufacturer's. I like Aeroquips hose the best. It is available in black or blue. As for fittings, Jegs and summit both have their brands that are the cheapest. Aeroquip and Earl's make some of the best. They are also available from Russel and XRP. The fittings are a little cheaper than the ones for SS braided hose but are much, much easier to put together. Hose is half the price of SS braid. I would use -10 mininum for oil. Hope this helps, Eddie.

I need 25' Hose
2) - 10 Straight
4) - 10 90*
4) 1/2 x -10 Adapters
2) 1" x -10 Adapters
Im using Canton Racing oil filter adapters with 1/2 ports and coolers from Teague with 1" ports. I didnt realize the ports on the coolers were 1" until they got here. Im using the stock Mercury remote filter housing with 1/2" ports.
