Opinions on 2000 Baja Hammer
#2
I have always liked the hammer myself and know several folks that have really enjoyed them.
I have never heard of any design issues or problems with that model to be concerned with.
The best thing when buying any used boat is to check it over completely looking for water damage especially with the stringers and transom and any cracks, etc. Then check out the engine and out drive and if all look good and it runs nice you should have a good boat.

I had a 1999 with a 7.4 It was a great boat. I think it was 55 - 60 MPH. Actually sold it for what I bouth it for 3 years earlier. Nice riding little hot rod.
Like stated previously, look for water damage, hours and maintenance issues.
Good luck and if you get it, enjoy your summer.
