I am using the a Crane 741 cam with a little tweaking and was considering using these lifters

these are the lifters used in the zz572/620 crate motors, here's all I can find on the cam and springs from the 572
Camshaft lift (in): .632 intake / .632 exhaust
Camshaft duration (@.050 in): 254'c1 intake / 264'c1 exhaust
Lobe centerline(deg): 112
Springs:
O.D. - 1.540"
Pressure at installed height - 197# @ 1.80"

Those are the standard length lifters aren't they?
From what I've been told, you can run the standard length but it's risky, you should where possible, try and run the slightly longer lifters so they don't pop out of the hole and foul everything up.

What block casting are you using. The older Mark lV blocks you can use the standard lenght lifters. The Gens you will probably need the longer ones. I would be real careful in regards to using those lifters. Looks like the price might be to good to be true. If your using Hyd. roller lifters - the ones that seem to hold up the best are cranes. Everyone has their own opinion on that though and that's OK. It just sucks bad when those explode and take out an engine.
