Default CLOSED cooling on a whipple'd 502?

i would like to install fresh water cooling on my nordic heat. however, i've recently gotten a whipple charger for it. this is the top mount style so the circulation pump is removed as part of the installation.

has anyone here installed a remote fresh water cooling system in an application like this? if so, what kind of water pump was used? electric, etc

thanks!
Ned

My guess is you are not running closed cooling so you do not need the circulation pump. The sea water pump will give you all the water you will need then some.

yea, i know the sea pump will be enough for raw water cooling. i've done that type of setup before. just not w/ a closed cooling system.

maybe i should have used the term "closed cooling" not "fresh water cooling"

either way, has anyone setup a closed cooling remote reservoir (not on the front of the motor) w/ something other than the circulation pump?

thanks!
