Ok, remember in the winter when I told you guys I was gonna pull the 454 ci in my Chris-Craft Limited, and put in a warmed up 502 Mag ? Well, Im getting ready to pull the old motor, and I need to know which motor mount bolts to pull. Is it the single one on each side on the top of the stringer mount ? Or do I pull the two base bolts on each stringer mount ? I was told if I do it right, everything should line right back up because the blocks are the same. We are gonna still check it, but this will make it easier. Thanks.

If you remove the drive then you could remove either the too big nuts that would take a 1 1/8 wrench or the too smaller ones at the base. If you did not remove the drive then you should only remove the ones at the base. those should take a 3/4 socket and wrench to remove them. Also you will need to remove the too bolts at the rear of the engine one on each side hooked to the transom assy, You will need a 3/4 inch socket and most of the time a long [extn] bar to remove them easyr. just remove the big one and drop the 502 on those mounts it should be the same or real close but of course you should check it.
