Default 3 blade prop to 4 blade questions

Hey Guys!

I am currently running the recommended 3 blade prop for my 24ft Baja, its a 13 7/8 X 23P stainless steel prop, I need to get a spare prop anyway, so, I am thinking of looking for a good used stainless 4 blade prop, what is the formula/ratio for going from a 3 to 4 blade? appreciate any input, as always, Thanks to everyone!

You did not tell us what motor you have but you will prob need to go down 1 pitch . You will likely loose 2-3mph by going with a 4 blade on that boat. I have friends who have tried 4 blades on those boats and always go back to 3.
4 blade is good for pulling tubes and skiers.

I actually DO plan to do a little tubing and skiing, and was told 4 blades give you a little better holeshot, the motor is a 454Mag EFI, 1995, stock except for the addition of Stainless Marine risers and mufflers, Thanks!
