Default new 555ci that won't idle or get warm

Alright need some help I've got twin 555ci dart packages that won't idle in gear or get warmed up.I just got the boat on 4/17 the motors only have dyno hours. I know that there are no thermostats and I've got no water temp or oil temps. I was told that was the best way to run these engines, but I would like a second opinion. They do have aluminium heads???

Ok, you are going to need crossovers so you can add a bypass and the thremostat, will never get temp correct without, as far as the idle, how much base timing ? sounds like you need to limit or lock the dist to clean the idle up with whatever cam you are running. what cam and dist are you running ?
