Has anyone used a Tongue Pivot on a large trailer? (10-12k lb capacity) I like the ability to gain space in my storage garage but not sure it I trust the Pivot mechanism?


Also have anyone converted a standard tongue to one with a Pivot? If so what kind?

Any input or information would be great.

I have a friend that has an extreme trailer, 33daytona, with the pivot hitch and he has no problems that i am aware of. not sure what style it is.

If you get Powerboat magazine, there was a new product in the May issue from Hardline Products called the Trailer-Slide.

Looks like a tricked out manhole cover with wheels for lowering a traditional jack onto it to make it more manuverable than a jack with the wheel built into the bottom of it. Looks pretty cool.
