I read in Michelle Shmidts (sp?) newsletter that Treadwell will be racing a new Outerlimits this year rather than a Formula.

Is it true?

Inquizative mind need to know.

That would explain the reasoning behind them having to sell the project boat they started. Those Outerlimits are alot more pricey than the Formulas. I think thats why they named them Out of Limits then combined it to a more user friendly name That should be a winning ride for them.Good Luck Treadwell and we'll all be cheering for you guys! That sounds like a confirmation from Frank, so I'll place my money on it being a new sit down, quad step 37' Gladiator slayer.

This should be interesting to watch.

From what looks like on the Martin website they sold the F2-1 Virgin Gladiator and the older 38' TopGun. also in the PowerBoat Mag that covered the 2nd stage of the worlds they said they(Team Virgin) had some business to take care of in factory 2 that's why they pulled out of SuperCat. Now that it's taken care of tey will concetrate on SuperCat this year. I hope that they're not pulling out of F-2 this year I loved seeing the only Cigarette on the APBA circuit race let alone it be the Virgin boat, but also missed not seeing the Virgin SuperCat.
