Default Desert Storm, who was the Top Gun on Fridays Poker run?

Come on guys, we need info? For all us poor slobs that couldn't make it!
Who was the fastest? I heard there was some crazy stuff. Was it any one of the regulars that consistantly run in front or someone new.
We need thw story!

I'm pretty sure it was a silver MTI, with "1200's" and 6-speed (or 4 maybe) trannies.

2nd Lick This
3rd Gone Again.

I wasn't there, this is just what I've been reading on performanceboats.com. There is real lack of pics/info on DS so far. Hopefully when everyone gets home we'll get some pics and the details.

Oh, and I think the shootout was won by a 33 Eliminator Daytona at like 177 or something insane.

Silver MTI was so far ahead, at least 1/2 to 3/4 of mile when they went by. No one was even close. That boat was pretty well motionless on the water as it went by. It looked like it was at no wake, but I'm sure it was going somewhere in the high 100's.

The speed shoot out winner was a 33 Eliminator with big Gary Teague motors. 174mph.

Here's a cool little video of the shootout. I don't believe this was the winner however.

I read the guy in the silver/blk m35 DCB hosed alot of people down at the start causing bad starts for others, plus the guy was drivin like he really did steal it. Its all on performanceboats.com website. Not many people were happy with the Dcb driver

Tomlinson was driving it. That thread is out of control like most callout threads are. I'm sure Tomlinson didn't do anything on purpose to put anyone in danger.

Johnny was throttling, The 48 MTI was the winner by nearly a mile, running a used old set of Mercury 38's, their new Herings were being fixed in the trailer, even more impressive
