Default turbo issues

had the same issues after mine can out of a ford shop in ohio. it kept blowing off (30 -40 times) a truck driver stopped and stated that the hose was put on backwards. after that no more problems
it was not seating prpoerly on the turbo flange
good luck

make sure the boots and the intercooler tubes are both very clean..oil leaves a residue. alot of people clean them with parts cleaner or brake cleaner. the oil in your tubes comes from the blowby of the engine being put into the intake. which you can modify to not do anymore...also, you could have faulty hose clamps that dont tighten enough.

This has been discussed on www.thedieselstop.com numerous times.

Some guys resort to epoxy.

Is it a 6.0? They are notorious for it. There is something out there to fix it. I don't have it handy right now, but I can get you the link for it.
