I took a good look at that ride at the Norwalk Boat Show last year, what power and kind of numbers were you running?

Nice, at that speed you better keep an eye out for 20 Cigs.

Dan:

Tell Dad that would make a real nice graduation present! Hope you enjoyed the exhiliration. One hot Boat. Great seeing you and Dad on Tsunami. I'm sure we'll see you soon. Stop by at the VIP night friday in Greenwich this weekend if you can get away. Just mention Sutphen and me. Get in no problem.

Air time,

We still have a ways to go on the new deck mold of the 277,
1100 HP and a Konrad will be a pretty sick set up in any of the boats you have listed. We can do the 277 as a sit down racer or a stand up bolster set up, what ever suits your needs. I believe Ernie had the old 26 Boxer race boat near triple digits with alot less HP than you are talking about, how fast do you want to go. Rich Jr. can even build you an old style 26 if you are interested. Give me a call or email me if you want more details.

Thanks well I have two motors my 650hp which we might bring to 700hp cause right now its about 670 with a new carb set up going from 850bg to custom CFM 1050, Then the blower motor which can be adjusted for hp, right now its set up to be 93oct gas and 1050 to 1100hp, well over a 100 would love to get the speed record for which ever boat I get, and figure I could help the builder get speed readings with hp from 700hp, 800,900,1050,1200hp if that would help and bring the boat to shows pokerruns, races to help get new boats seen if that would help plus race in 500,400 opa depends on power. I talked to DEAN GELLNER ABOUT MAKING THE MOTORS A QUICK IN OUT SET UP. I would like to set up a boat with sit down seats but not cutting the deck down, what I did to my 24 is set the new seats lower in the boat so when running hard you sit but if your coming in you can just drop the seat down so you can move around. I will give you a call thanks for your reply. Art

Thumbs up

Time is not a problem, The last boat I bought was19yrs ago still have it but its had lots of changes over the years, and I will most likeiy use it this season then strip all the new stuff back off and sell the hull. Like I said above great things are worth waiting for as in your 277 I am sure it will be great. I bought my baja 19yrs ago cause a friends father owned the dealership and I decided to buy a friends used boat baja 24 330hp or a white with blue 26 sutphen 365hp at a maine repo place. I had cash they wanted 24,000 for both boats but there was water in the cabin of the 26 and that worried me and then I got the dealer down to 16,700 on the baja, so I went that route. I should of talked to the bank about the water and had someone look at it, cause WHAT I know now over the last 19years if I knew then it would of been the 26. I am not knocking my boat it has kick some big azz here on the cape with big power, but needed extra glass work to keep it together. if I had the 26 I be looking at a trojan32 or 36 to have fun when not running the sutphen. last summer I was in tsuniam [sp] for a run it was sweet. I will call yah. Art ps love erines boat we ate up some big water in 05 with it the new one 32.
