What's the deal with the slips at the marina? Do we need to reserve those, or have you guys?

Hi Scott,
In the water parking is the only "fly in the ointment" at this time. Our lakes and marinas are geared to residential boating, not a lot of transient or tourist traffic. What that means is most of our marinas build slips to the demand, and there usually aren't a lot of extra slips available.
I am still working with Anchor High to accommodate as many of our out of town guests as possible. Fortunately, another nearby marina, Blackjack Cove (which is going to be awesome when they are done with their remodeling, $9M in improvements) has offered overflow parking at new slips they are putting in this month. It's about 2 miles by water, so we can water taxi anyone who needs to park there.
Plan B is the option to trailer your boat back to the hotel at night. They do have trailer and boat parking. Fortunately, most of us locals (approximately 10 boats) will also trailer out at night so we won't need slip space, and we can devote that to you guys.
When you get in Friday, look me, Jeff, John, and/or Gary up. We'll get you set up.
Our dock space in downtown Nashville for Saturday is secure. We have 400' of dock space and can raft off if we need to.
Thanks,
Steve
