August 22, 2009 will be the day for the Gonzales Boat Clubs Big Poker Run. First time sence 2002 we'll be going out of Blind River Bar. What an awsome tshirt we have for it.

What the heck are you doing here? That's right, you were asking that about me.

I was looking around to try and find a website that we could use in Lake Charles to boaters will know what's going on. Typical example - we just heard about a party on the Calcasieu west fork only two days before. Me and Angelle went to it - lot of fun. Word needs to get out more around here. Maybe more people would raft up together if they new others were going out. This one's nice, but I noticied if you want to view the persons profile(location, etc.) you have to be a gold member minimum that charges. That may kick some out cause they are not going to pay. There's others, but not as nice as this one is. It would be easy to just start a couple "topics" called Lake Charles-events, or Lake Charles-general.

Serious Offshore is a great site, and free. Basically a spin off of this place. I think the Calc Boat Club has a website but they haven't updated it in a while.

That's the point, we've got a boat club but it doesn't support boating much around here. I'll give you a holler.
