A couple of us TX boys are comin down there to see how you guys get it done.

We are bringing 2 Sport cruisers from Ft Lauderdale on Sat afternoon and need to know good suggestions for docking them, shore power, is there one with a hotel?

Where are all of the activities going to be?

We are planning on staying on the boats, so we are looking for a good marina facility with showers etc. and bars.

Where are all the parties going to be etc?

The party is everywhere ,and ofcorse where i am at !!!!

Plus a friend of mine has an island there,,with a dock .

Try the Blackfin, much shorter walk to the bar.

That is what we are thinking. I am going to call tomorrow and c how much. If it costs to much, Scott has us fixed up also.

Coconut Cay is OK, and the blackfin aint much better, most of the hotels in the area are older, but the blackfin has a better channel leading in, and a VERY short walk to the bar, the channel leading into coconut is deceiving, its deep, but not very wide

Just called Blacfin and they said they don't take 38' boats???

I asked, well what about if we get rooms?? She said, I'll have to check, are you racing? I said no, we are coming to watch. Then she said just plain no.

Any of you guys have rooms there that aren't using docking, want to reserve some docke for us?
