From the desk of Jim (founder and organizer of the Desert Storm Poker Run Series):

Due to the cost of this event climbing significantly over the last two years. We have requested the city help fund the event. Though they gave us 100% increase this year, the amount was about half of the event insurance alone. Plus it was about 1/7 of the amount they funded the pyrotechnics show

The CVB decided to fund a study to report the economic impact the event has on Havasu, which all of us here can testify to. Unfortunately the data the firm gathered during the event is not enough and we need data from all participants and spectators.

I have created a survey form in Adobe shares and you can access it thru the link below. You'll need to click download to get the form, fill it out and submit it. It automatically accumulates the data and hopefully when submitted, will prove to the city what we (all of us) bring to the community.

You have my sincere thanks in advance for giving us your feedback. It will make a difference.
