Hi,
I would like to share some pics from my latest project. I am building a brand new deck, (my own design) on my 21' boat. What you see in the picture is the outline of the new deck. On top of this 3 layers of 280 gr biax, 10 mm H100 Divinycell and the outside will be another three layers of 280 gr biax. Everything will be bonded by isopolyester. The mold will afterwards be destroyed from the inside, since this is an impossible geometry to release from the mold in one piece.
The mold is as far as I have done, the pics is taken right after the last putty was laid (it´s supersoft to sand, so I laid plenty of it, sanding it down is almost effortless)
First a before pic...
Best regards,
/Stilldouble

because this is what u want it to look like ,,so now u need to fine tune it ,,wax it and built a mold ( of this plug ) ?!
Then i see NO reason why u cant pop this out of a mold ???!!!
2 nd ,, u should of left it like it was !!!! I liked the old one better !!!!

The pics were taken right after the last round of putty was put on, so that is why it had not been sanded yet.
Under any circumstances, I had to redo the deck, the last deck I considered not worth the effort to resto...

That cowl looks MEAN. I like it. And I never like outboards!
I don't mind the new look topside. I'm unsure of the bull nose approach though, I think it detracts from the remaining sharpness of your design. This semi barrel-back design reminds me of an old Glenn-L design runabout I had years ago withbut the bubble deck style is remisicent of a ski/race boat like my old Sanger! Interesting combo.
Keep up the good work, I can't wait to see the graphics / paint combo you choose.

I have tried to make a deck design that also goes with the existing hull... If I have succeded with that, I think is a matter for the eyes of the beholder... Also a matter of taste and personal preferences I guess...
