How does it work for you? I am thinking about getting it this week. Should I get a g2 card to get better details? My goal is to see where the channel is and stay in it! thanks

Have a 545, works great. Only have the preloaded maps that came with it, they are all I ever needed so far, lots of detail.

I have a 540. Has great detail. I would like to add a couple g2 vision cards one day. Nice unit as is from the store.

Does the 540 include points of interest (marinas, restaurants etc.) ? And with the G2 cards, do you have an option to show non-lighted buoys?
