I had my intake blasted clean. Bare aluminum. Should I prime it with an etching primer before I paint it? Like you would an outdrive?? Same primer??
I'm going to go with a paint that looks like aluminum. Should look nice on my motor.

I shot mine using a etching epoxy. The stuff actually has excellent filling capabilities. 4 coats would really fill those pores and smooth things out nicely. 6 hour wait time though before top coating.

Thanks guys.....but I don't really want to take the time and expense to powdercoat it. I'm on an ever tightening budget these days. I just wanna paint it so it doesn't flake off.
