would have loved to have gotten up there. Just wasnt in the cards.

A death in the family and a rough week before made things tough.

Didnt even get the boat wet all weekend

We'll need to get together for sure in the future though.

as for getting together, for sure. i think the 4th is going to be a great time, we are either doing winggi which will probably be crazy and a great ime, or i was thinking about talking to everyone, see about getting the party to the charles river for boston. we'll see

cool, let me know!!!

i bought the checkmate, so to go to an older boat the same size as mine with less options in this economy seems crazy. if it was a 30 or 33 it would be in my mind for sure!!!

i love that boat, im not much for twins, i was looking for a single or outbord boat. if it was 19k last year i would have delt with the twins, but i was looking more towards single big block with bravo and i was going to put a 425 hp 496 or if i could find a good 525 for the right price. but i just couldnt find one. got a screamin deal on my checkmate, so i couldnt pass it up.

my plan right now is to keep it forever because work sucks and i am not making any money. lol but if things turn around, i need atleast a year to recoop my funds to keep my bussnes going, then i will be calling Rich and talking about a 30-33 with a single 600 or 700 sc, or try to find a few year old one like that 05 with the blower motor!!!

I am suprised you would want a single. After owning a single in the past I have no interest in ever owning one again.

The twins are so much easier to dock, and if something goes down you have good chance of limping it back to shore.

We had a few singles and we kept them at cedar island marina. there was good swirling current there and when we switched to twins we couldnt believe how much easier it was to dock the boat.

I am kind of attached to the out board Idea now. never thought that would happen. I was always a good old big block kind of guy but the outboards give me so much more cockpit space and I can stand up and work on them like a human bieng instead of a contortionist.LOL

I do miss that rumble but thats it.
