info on 24' checkmate

My buddy is looking at a 06 checkmate 24' with a 215 merc outbaord. What kind of speeds are to be expected?

Guy I know has a 2006 Pulsare 24' with a 225 Opti max, power jack. Trimmed right light load 70 mph.
I believe he has it in the Checkmate Classifides.
