I' new to this site so please forgive my ignorance! There seems to be opinions that some say the 496ho exhaust manifolds can be used on peanut port or large port oval heads. Then there are some who say they cannot because the bolt holes won't line up. I want to upgrade my MK IV, and do it on a budget. I have found a set of take offs but would like some more advice before buying.
The engine is stock with the exception of an Edelbrock 1410 carb. I have peanut ports now and will be buying a set of 049 lrg. Oval port this summer with larger valves and port work. Then I will add an Air-Gap. Thanks for the help.

They will bolt up and work on either head.
