Question 1990 330hp 454 Ignition modules ??

I have a bud that needs a used one,but I'm not sure which one he needs. I'm thinking its a Thunderbolt iv ignition? Anybody have one?


what is the difference between the old style and new?

Bam says the new # is
mercruiser 15248A1

I used to have a 1994 version thunderbolt iv, it mounted on the distributor. I think the older style mounted on the shift assembly. I am not sure about what year they made the conversion.

This one is mounted on the port exhaust riser, its mounted just like my 1989 Scarab

I have a 1989 330 that I took of my old Checkmate when it was new and added MSD it is the one mounted on the exhaust riser but is the big square style that looks like the old Ford modules.

I have one don't plan on using it again. give me an address i'll send it you try it give me what you think is fair (mine was mounted on a plate mounted on the exhaust 502 from 1992)
