Default $50.00 to the 1st person that can diagonsis this!!!!

Boat runs great, lost 1/2 the electric on the way in. No drive or trim tabs, no cabin power, nothing on the driver or cabin panel works. All was good until I trimmed in the snot offshore. Then the above quit. Had to limp back with the drives & trim at about 1/2 trim. Rear hatches won't go up. Checked the breakers I know of but no luck. This has to be something stupid but IDK what it is. Boat charges and runs like a champ. Boat is a 38 Fountain SC. Help!! & yes, if u get it right I'll send u the $'s.

yes, diagnos is spelled wrong - can't change it

Its the 12 V wire that runs from the engine compartment to your dash !!!!

I bet if u check the 9 pole plugs and follow the wire u will find it !! Also i think there is a main breaker back there somewhere.

Soon as I can open the hatches, I'll take a look but there is sone power to the dash that makes me question the 12v wire. I have power to some parts of the dash but not all. I can run the blige pumps, blower ect., but that's about it.

Check the ground post on the back of one of the motors. If the nut is loose or the connection between the terminal or wire is bad, it could cause this. You might want to post this in the tech section as well.

not sure how the boat is wired, but battery switch? or grounds for certain items. the motors still running would indicate that the grounds on the motors seem to be fine. what you said worked still is important items that are usually separate from extra electronics.

The bliges, nav, anchor lights, ect on the dash still work. The 2 blidge lights & the nav lights are lit on the dash but aren't running. I threw a charger on the boat for the nite. G/f was willing to slide between the hatches & hook the charger up. In the AM, I'm going to disconnect the hatches so I can check the connectors & spend several hours pondering the issue over a few beers.

IDK wtf went south but this is a good 1,

just eliminate one thing at a time, don't try to check things all at once

check the big plug on the harness between the motor harness and the boat harness. Pull it apart and plug it back together

Not trying to be a smartass, but did you check all your fuses for the switch panel?
