I am looking for a good, USED, Intake manifold used only in fresh water, with minimal corrosion. I have to replace a salt water version on my '87 454 Alpha - on the cheap.

Red, I believe with the alpha/454 combo they are all 330's with peanut port heads, your 420's are square ports.

i have a freshwater use only off a 502 mag 1994 carb. i will get the part numbers but i think it is what you are looking for. pm me if interested

original merc intakes on 370 and 400 motors in the 80's had a bronze water passages built into the aluminum intakes, not sure on newer ones
