It’s always my goal to have rattle-free vehicles (including boats). My 24 Outlaw started out with a few rattles and I was able to get rid of most (putting a pad under the radio, tightening some loose nuts, etc). My current boat is rattle-free with the exception
of the little latch on the cabin door (and my teeth when I jump big cruiser wakes). The latch is the type that many other builders use including some highly revered custom builders so it’s got to be a decent piece of hardware. It’s also the same latch used on the other size Outlaws. I have concluded that it does not rattle if I ride with the cabin door open but I don’t like doing this. What do you other guys do? Does yours rattle? Do you ride with the door open? Do you just deal with it?

My 36 also has that same aggravating rattle. So far i've just put up with it,When it warms up it's going to be one of the first things I try to fix.IF I come up with a remedy I'll let ya know.

I have the same latch on the my 342. I run with the door open most of the time. Had the same latch on my Checkmate 242, ran with the door closed it broke the screws and ripped the wood that held the hatch to the door. This was a smaller / lighter boat but you still get jolted hard once and awhile. Would hate to have something lke that happen to my fiberglass door.

My door does not latch unless you lock it. A real pain in the ass. Has a warning on the door "damage can result from cruising with door open". So I used to close door but not lock it. It rattled like hell and loosened screws in the bottom trip catch thing.
So I installed a flip over door stop thing to keep it open. I'm very happy with it. Door does not rattle anymore, and keeps the cuddy cool with fresh air when cruising around.
