25 M+ labbed for speed and a 24P Bravo 1 labbed for overall cruise. 23P REV 4 best straight out of box for best performing unlabbed prop for cruise.

I agree to a point, but testing is the only real good way to find out. The older 502's were a little hard pressed to make that 415 HP given Mercury Marine's 10% (+or-) average HP ruling. Many of the 454 Mag 385 HP boats we tested back then ran as strong as 502's? With any heavy loads, or to keep the RPM's up you may need to stay with the 23 M+ for speed. The 23 Rev. (4-blade) with a little less diameter should run a little better than the 24 B1 at the standard lower "X" dim. in my opinion, if your looking for pulling power?

I would stay with a 3 blade on it.I tried a Bravo on my 25' and it hated it,too much stern lift. The best prop I have found for the Bajas in the 97-2000 range are Turbo Vectors. My 25 had a 454 mag with a 22" Turbo Vector and it ran an honest 67 mph.I have to agree with Xt the 454 mag boats ran hard people couldn't believe I had a 454,I outran a lot of 502 boats with that little bastard.

the 25 mirage/ 24 hydro turbo which I have for sale 250.00 or the rev 4 23, I ran the 25 and 24 when I had a stock 502. if you can get a 2'' shortie and run a labbed 24 or 26 bravo 1. the shortie from imco will make the boat fly better more top speed bigger prop higher cruise too. if you buy new talk to brett at bblades he will set you up for testing and if you keep it stock height go for the top three and have him labb the one you like best, at 250 I will ship in the usa only.

No doubt testing is the ONLY way to get the results the individual boater wants. I should have put my engine in the original post for a reference for everyone....496 HO.

Tried a 4 balde...hated it. As someone said, lifted the stern too much.

Here is what I did.
Had Bblades up-pitch a 23 Mirage plus to a 24 then lab it. He added rake to carry the bow and some cup to keep it off of the rev limiter.
I have a 496 Mag and it runs 65 MPH gps and 51 MPH @ 3700 rpm (cruse speed)

BTW I have no blowout and my slip % is way down.

x2

I had a 1999/502 25 Outlaw. Didn't care for the 4 blade on the boat at all. The 23 worked over I hit 69 on GPS.
