Default Federal Modul giving me the finger

It seems that Federal Mogul can't give me an answer as to why my piston's back order date keeps moving. I've ordered 3 pistons, Speed Pro 2465 F .030
Federal Mogul seems to think there's an issue with the supplier, and the last status update they have is October 2008.

Seems to me, I'm never gonna get them. Need to find an alternative, or someone who has a few (3) in stock.

AND NEVER ORDER SPEED PRO PISTONS AGAIN!!!

Can anyone help me?

Since you have the engine tore down already, can you substitute another brand of pistion in that motor.... I know it will be more $$ but you'll have your boat back in action sooner.

Well, that's definately an option. But I'm pushing my budget already. Having a hard time scrounging up the dough to get it running as it is. ya know... Just thought I would try this avenue first. From what I can gather, Speed Pro pistons may be in a museum sooner than later, therefore I figure this may be my last ditch effort at running Speed Pro pistons.

Is it possible that line of pistons is getting taken out of the linup for Federal Mogul?

And what's going on with these retailers? Their sales are slumping so the stock less parts? Go all over Summit's web site and there are more parts in back order status than there are in-stock.

The boat is in New York. Once I have the bottom end done, i will drop it in over there, then bring it home to do the top end. That'll probably be a few weeks.
