IF I were you id do some more reading on EMI. (taking the high road)
I have LOTS of experience with Imco and they've been awesome.
I think the powerflow pluses definitely have a longer runner.
Boostpower and Teague use Imco as well.
Take a look at lightning - they have a very high quality header for less $ than CMI.

Take a look at what Eddie Young has to say about his experience selling and building engines with EMI's.
You'll find it just search for - EMI problems.
I prefer not to speak for Eddie, and I respect him as do may here on OSO.
I don't know of a single high end builder that uses EMI.
I personally have no experience with EMI.
I have a lot of personal experience with Imco.
I have Imcos on my 406 SB tunnel hull
My Ilmor 710 has Cmi's

The powerflow has higher risers bigger ID and a better runner on the inside of the manifold - I have these.
The powerflow plus has the most sophisticated riser of the group with primary tubes running the entire length of the riser. the exhaust is rectangle shaped giving side by side installs more clearance. - its an excellent manifold
