Default Battery Trays

I picked up some purple anodized battery trays a while back and decided to replace the batteries so I'm planning on installing the new trays. Question is how long of screws can I use to install them? Not sure what the thickness of the hull is in that area? I'm assuming and inch??

A 1/2" to 3/4" of bite of the screw should be plenty into the flooring.
