Default M1SC Procharger Reliability

Going to purchase a new-to-me boat on Tuesday. Right now the boat has a 500 bored out to .060 with a 9.1 compression, stock cam with dart intake along with a custom blown through Nickerson 850 running on 7lbs of boost. The owner said he has another pulley that will produce around 4.5lbs of boost, brand new that he can put on for me if I'd like. My question is, How reliable will this procharger be with 4.5lbs of boost? I don't think its worth the cost to have someone take off the pro charger, get a new 850 carb and new throttle body, or is it???

The pro itself is very reliable,I have been running one on my truck now for quite some time... Comp is great and so is the cust serv.. I wouldn't hesitate to get it.. But being 9.1 4-5 psi is all I would run unless you decide to IC it, but you will love the power out of it the way it is..

It will last longer at 4.5 lbs than at 7. I had over 200 hours on mine .
