I have a 1996 26 ft. Scarab with a 502 that now has a B&M 250 blower on it. I run 5 lbs. of boost and should be making about 650 hp. I am running a Bravo 1 outdrive with a -2 Sportmaster Lower with 1.34 gears. I am using a 28 pitch Bravo 1 that has been lab finished. I have 2 problems that I need help with. First I can only turn about 4600 rpms. I think part of that is not enough carb for the engine which is being fixed. Second problem is that when I am cruising the starboard side lifts quite a bit. I have to run my port tab at about 3 to make the boat run level. Need some advise with all of this. Also tried a 3 blade prop for fun but was able to blow it out easily. It was a 25 pitch Mirage Plus.

502 with a 250 blower, you're gonna need at least a 1050 or 1150 Dominator Carb. I believe Mercruiser used 1050's on there 525SC which was basically a 454Mag w/177 blower. Sorry, don't know about your leaning.

I have the same boat - but with 502 mag (no blower
)
I have to drag the left tab also although only 1.5 -2. Running a Bravo 1 24p. Was running a 23p mirage and didn't lean quite as bad, although it still did some. Seems like these boats just like to torque over some.
