Stainless Marine exaust
I'm installing new exaust tips(un mufflered)(thanks Scott) on the Scarab..I may have to disconnect the elbows from the manifolds.. question is .. is there a sealant between the elbow and manifold??? if so what type?? red rtv???

Yes,
Red RTV is used.
It will smell like something rubber burning for a while, so beware.
