I have a 1996 26 ft. Scarab that has 12X12 Bennett tabs on it. I have added a supercharger and run faster than 60 now. Want to know why I would want to change tabs if I rarely use them now. What is their main purpose other than keep the bow down or help with lean on one side or the other?

I ran bennets for many years and they suited me fine. I did bend one one time, proabably because of the weight of the boat. But it was easy to fix. Last winter I sprung for eddie marine 24" long tabs and boy are they purdy! I don't really notice any difference except the deployment rate is way faster, which is good at time.

At neutral or a little - they will actually act like more running surface and probably slow or stop chine walking.
If we can quote you, email me at [email protected]
We carry 22" and 28" tab lengths in compelte kits or components. These are equal to the quality of KPlanes and are found an many performance boats. The price is half that of KPlanes and they even use the same pump.
