Default Bravo Drive - No Reverse / Forward

I lost forward and reverse over the weekend in one of my Bravo Drives. I know its in Nuetral since the motor starts. I know the linkage from the shifter to the motor is good, but i have not pulled my drive yet - just thought i would find someone that had a similar problem, or get input before i pull the drive later today
Thanks

Make sure your coupler is good 1st, then pull the top cap.

Do you see alot of tiny rubber particles near the rear of the engine, almost like black dust?
