Default crane 731 cam question for distributor gear

i have posted about this before but the titel for for the cam gear and i didnt get allot of feedback and since then i have gotten more info on the cam. the description i read for the crane 731 and other crane cams is that they used a cast gear on it for the distributor so that a bronze gear is not needed. now they mad a black colored cam and a bronze colored cam, does the cast gear description go for the both of them or only the black one? i would call their tech support but crane is no longer around... thanks!

Not sure about the black versions, but mine was the bronze/copper finish and it had the cast gear. I ran the stock distributor gear.
