Bank is asking 146,000 for this 47 OL.

Should sell for half that.

If the boat has no power, drives, exhaust, trannies, props and any other incidentals plan on putting $250 to $300k into the boat to do it right. Unless you have some used parts that is a pretty good range to do it with new stuff including the rigging costs.

$40K maybe... not worth much without power..

And why do people have the need to trash a boat when they default (re: cabin door don't get like that unless you force it)... Sounds to me like the guy knowingly defaulted and when he knew they were coming to get it he trashed it and de-rigged...

Purely speculation but it's sad.

Hey Panther, you don't get it because you are a person of integrity and morals, so you don't understand how trash works. Maybe someday someone can explain it to both of us.

Frank when Joe first got his 37, his nephew opened the door and tore the door right off the track. You could'nt believe you were seeing it happen.

I looked at that boat 6 years ago for 275k running and it was over priced then. The cockpit color is bad and the paint was worse. Unless you are Satan the whole boat needs to be redone. That boat has never been right, well not since it sank. I am sure the guy who had it thought he was going to roll it and make good money on it. He had it up for sale less than a month after he got it, eveybody I talked to about it said that since it sank and was redone it never had a trouble free weekend. Most of it little stuff but still. Why anyone would buy that boat for 150 when they have the 43 NT running for 125K ?
