Default I miss my boat

Well since my personal schedule is getting crazier and crazier because of my wedding coming up, my house needing everything under the sun cause previous owner was a butt nutt, I had to take my baja to the marina to get work done on it.
Im having them do a gimbal ring, swivel shaft, all new bellows boots, shifter cables.
Shifters are so tight you have to muscle it into gear.

They said it will be about 3 weeks, that was 2 weeks ago
Called to see if they had assessed the problems and if it needed a new gimbal ring or if the swivel shaft just needed to have the steering arm tightened down some on it.
well they said now they are back logged and it will be at least 3 weeks until they can get to it.

So should I freak or should I remain calm?
I needed to paint the trailer ect and replace bunks and carpet so i hvae the trailer in pieces at home at the moment and waiting for a NON windy day to paint her up and get her all prettied up.

I need the boat back to tear apart the starboard engine apart and find out what the banging was and paint the boat and do other upgrades, Im hoping that i get it back in time for memorial day.
UHHHHRRRRGGGHHHHH
Jason

Do marine mechanics exist that can fix your boat when they promise. Imagine if the auto repair industry worked the way the marine repair industry did. People would go back to riding horses.

Thumbs down

****ty marina --- How did your boat get moved to the back of the line???? 2 weeks ago it was 3 weeks out and all of a sudden its going to be 3 weeks before they can get to it. I would complain or learn how to repair it myself like a lot of boaters do out of necessity.

now now now they are a dealer for cobia boats and 2 other brands that slip my mind at the moment. (no performance boats) BUT the owner is into fountains, he has a 42 for sale and wants a jump up in HP from the HP500's and basically wants a new boat.
Anyway, With this wedding coming up and me running around like mad, I dont have time to fix it so I had no choice but to take it to them. I have alot of yard work, rebuild my back deck, get rid of about 3 tons of rocks around the back side of the pool so the concrete can be poured, replace 13 windows in the house, and then rebuild my 2 front bedrooms into a master suite with a master bath for my queen.
So needless to say im busy as **** and im freakin mad, I called them and they said they are back logged cause everyone wants their boat for spring. I said YEAH, SO DO I
so they said I can take it back and use it and then bring it back when they are not so busy. Ummm no just keep the damn thing and fix it so I dont have to worry about some of this silly **** anymore. Im guessing at this point it is going to be late MAY or early June before I can get the hell out on the water.
What can you do.
Hey Tinker, I like your 34!!!
Not a bad ride but aren't they really heavy?
someone indicated a while back that 34 Scarab III's were like 12 thousand pounds DRY weight
Is that true?
