Default 27 Zr

Hey Guys,

So, I have been into boats and have owned them in the past (not performance though) and now want to get into something fast. I have been looking around and like the looks of the new 27 ZR. I want to be in the 27 to 30 foot range and I feel like this is a good boat. I know of only some of the bigger brands out there, so I could be over looking something that might fit me better. I am not sure, which options to chose from though, besides knowing I want to have the 525 in it. I would primarily use the boat on Lake Minnetonka, in Minnesota, if anyone has heard of it. If anyone has one of these or knows a lot about them please tell me what you can anything is appreciated! Also, if you have other comparable suggestions on different boats please tell as well. Everyone have a good rest of the weekend!

Thanks,
Mike

Welcome Mike! The 27 ZR is a real nice boat but you may want to seek one that is already built the way you want. It may take a while to get one built from Donzi at this time.

Get in line for the new 277 Sutphen or the 29 Active Thunder.

The 27 ZR is a real nice boat. You can give me a call at 847-804-1566. I can tell you all about the boat. I know the boating area in MN. Scott at Shipyard Marine in Wisconsin can also help help you out, 920-232-9500. Donzi is once again building boats. So you should be able to get one, just don't know if it would be ready before the end of summer.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Another thing I want to add is that besides getting a great boat I also want to have good customer service and helpful people when I need it. In the past I have over looked these things with cars and ended up regretting it.

Andy,

Are you familiar with Lake Minnetonka? If so, do you think this is a good boat for that area?

If someone were to purchase a Donzi out of stock from a dealer, who would handle the warranty claims? The new owners of Donzi? I heard that there were ALOT of problems with warranty claims when Baja was taken over by Reggie.

The 27 zr would be a great boat for that lake, maybe even a little over kill. Shipyard Marine would take care off all your warrenty work, their would be nothing to worry about. Give Scott a call, I have nothing but good things to say about Shaipyard and the way they have treated me.
