Does anyone remember a story of a Corvette that was pulled in as a result of an attempted Sea Doo recovery from the boat ramp, located on the East Coast of Florida.
If my memory is correct it was a yellow Corvette that was attempting to recover a Sea Doo from a ramp that is frequented by local sportsman, most of which despise PWCs. Apparently the Sea Doo was taking on water and the owner backed a new yellow Vette down the ramp, only for it to slide into the water, float down the inlet, and finally sink to bottom near the end of the peir at this facility.
During this process one of the sportsman at the ramp, observed, photographed, and logged it's location via GPS, and then posted it to a local sportsfishing site.
I thought I sourced the link from these forums a few years ago, and a search turned up nothing.
If anyone remembers this or has the link, it would be appreciated.
