Default 525 EFI Max Water Pressure

Anyone know what the max water pressure on the raw water side of a 525 cooling system is?

I would think it wouldnt matter as the water only goes through the exchanger and never touches seals/gaskets etc..

My current set up uses relief valves, but I was just wondering if they are really necessary.

Mercury spec on the sea water pressure for a closed cooling496 is 30-50 psi (5100rpm).

Kirk, What were you getting for pressure at WOT before you installed the reliefs. I'm off the gauge at about 40psi but I've heard that Mercury Racing says that's not a problem. Did I hear wrong? Steve
