Default Looking for "SeaDoo for Dad" - 108' Sunseeker

This boat tore through the no-wake zone on the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal around 11:00 AM on Sunday, 7/5/09, causing damage to boats, docks and people. When pursued by some of the victims, he refused to stop. The boat is registered in Georgetown, Cayman Islands. The boat had spent the night of the Fourth in Baltimore, tied up next to the National Aquarium. It's last transmitted location was in the marina by the former WTC site in New York City as of 7:00 AM Monday morning, 7/6/09.

See http://www.marinetraffic.com/AIS/dat...MMSI=954990382 for more information.

If someone can determine the owner of this vessel, there is a pretty long line of people waiting to speak with him.

Just asking, but if some guys followed him couldn't you all called Local cops, marine patrol, coasties??? In VA Beach they would have gone ape chit to chase a boat and screw with them. Doesn't seem like it would be that hard to track him down, you have the name on the boat, call his embassy?

This doesn't help but I saw him cruising down the Delaware on Sunday around 2pm by the Ship John Light House. I was surprised how fast he was motoring.

I don't know if this will help but he does not seem to be at North Cove Marina.
Check the webcam he might be in slip S5,6,or7

If it's him in NY there is no shortage of lawyers there to get there hands around his collar. Injunction time!

Wow, beautiful boat.

Nothing like sending 5' rollers into the basin.

What an idiot.

You know, now that I think of it, there aren't really any decent signs out there. Used to be a big one at the end of Schaefers, guess that fell into the water with the other half of the dock.....?

Coming in for Canal day, I had a group of guys hooting and yelling at me to slow down, way back before Capt. Dan's. ???

Once they realized I wasn't slowing until before Schaefers dock, they got up to about 15 MPH themselves, pushing a huge wake.

I lived on the Canal growing up, traveled that way maybe THOUSANDS of times over the years. We have never slowed until just before the docks.

Hope this guy has to pay, and learns to slow it down through there.
