There is a huge difference in mpg according to how you handle the sticks.
Hammer it, and the mileage goes south in a hurry. Be considerate of your power and they aren't bad at all.
'course, you have a 185 gal. tank, so why worry about it?

Most boats see between 1 and 2 MPG. The 502 is a great engine and at cruise RPM usually between 3200 and 3500 RPM you can almost cut the fuel consumption in half compared to WOT. I have always found that 4000 RPM is that magic number where fuel burn goes up quickly.
My 500's would burn 45 gal per hour each at 5450 RPM.
