looking at getting a 1999 29 Outlaw with about 180 hours, twin454 mag motors...is there any know problems with these boats? also, where is a good place to get cockpit snap in carpet:

IMO, great all around boats. Predictable handling, fairly fast, and a nice blanced package.
The only thing I would look for on all Bajas is to make sure there are no gel coat blisters.

On a 10 year old boat I'd have it surveyed and check for rot in stringers and transom.

I put over 600 hours on mine. Great boat. I had some issues w fuel vapor lock, got the kit from the dealer in Nebraska, I think, problem solved.
Drive couplers at about 350 hours.
I never did the carpet makes cleaning the cockpit easy, just hose out at the carwash looks like new.
