Default What are the best quick disconnect fender hangers?

I hang 2 fenders from the rail on the side of my cockpit, one from a fender cleat I put on the bow. I use a quick disconnect to clip the fender on and off the rail, a fender grip to adjust. The cheap disconnects I got let go if too much force is applied. I dropped a fender leaving the launch today, had to go back and tie up again, lots of fun on a windy day by myself. I want to find a better quick disconnect set up, any suggestions?

This is what I have now:

Nylon line and tie a knot. Quick, easy and works every time.

Easiest way is to install some quick pin fender cleats. Mushroom Cleats will work fine as well. I have mine set up with loops to go on the regular cleats and some with regular lines that I can adjust height easier.

I had some with a little thumb button that you pushed down onto the line to grab tension. I have not seen them for sale in several years though.

I use the Seadog Fender Mate. They work very well on the Sonic railing.

I have a couple of these on each side. and use the hangers for the rail. Very easy to use, never had one come loose in three seasons now.
