can anyone tell me what gauges preferably gaffrig i'm going to need for my pro-charger set up ? do i need a boost gauge and fuel pressure? and what should the range read on these if i run 5lbs of boost ?

I guess you have a problem reading your own threads. Didn't we just discuss this issue in detail on a previous Pro Charger Thread?

Tell you what I have on my Whipple:

Boost gauge
Fuel pressure
Water Pressure for motor and intercooler

The minimum you need is boost and fuel pressure. I have Gaffrig(livorsi) red line warning series. The warning series have a red light in the middle of the guage that lights up when there is a problem. The fuel pressure you need should range from 0-15 psi. Your running pressure will probably be between 8-13 psi. This guage can be either mechanical or electric sender. Mechanical is best but you will have to run a fuel line up to the dash. Boost guage should be between 0-15 lbs and definately mechanical. Other guages are a + to have but not needed.

Are you sure on those fuel pressure numbers - Procharger sets their systems up to run with over 40 lbs fuel pressure under boost, occaisionally over 50. I use a 0-60 fuel pressure gauge with my whippled motor.

Perhaps a oil temp gauge would be in order.

That is what mine are set at. At idle I am at 8 and WOT 13+, 5-6 lbs of boost

The differences in fuel pressures stated here can be attributed to carb vs efi systems. The efi runs at higher pressures. The carb version is around 7# at idle +1# of pressure for each # of boost (boost referenced 4-port regulator as provided by Procharger. The regulator boost port MUST be plumbed from the airbox nipple & not the intake manifold. So if you are running 5# of boost your max pressure will be 12-13# unlike efi which will be higher.
Gauges- boost gauge & fuel pressure minimum.
water pressure optional- adequate flow can be seen thru the tell-tale dump.
